DAY 6 - Fotevikens in Höllviken, Sweden

On Friday we got brave and took a bus journey to Höllviken's Fotevikens Viking Museum. Both of these extremely metal objects were found by the entrance. Bill is appropriately wearing a Swedish metal t-shirt.

We were under the impression that the staff WERE vikings.

A pair of awesome rock carvings that I assumed to be of Jormungand.

Behold the sarificial grove. Leave your offering to Thor.

Some kind of killer Viking tower.

I am a merry viking!

I am a serious viking!

The view of the viking village from atop the tower.

We always take pictures of bugs and things, even when we're in Sweden.

Bill found viking roof design to be fascinating. It's got sod on it!

We want you to focus on the parts in the middle where somebody's head is getting chopped in half and somebody else is getting stabbed in the groin.

Some Viking folk.

Maggie likes weaving! And viking weaving huts.

Enter the great hall of feasting!

Just when I thought Fotevikens couldn't get any more metal, we discovered a pelt-covered Wolfthrone and a suit of chain mail.
